Plagiarism Policy

The International Journal of Physiology, Pathophysiology and Pharmacotherapy (IJPPP) follows a strict zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be the authors’ original work and must not contain copied or improperly cited material.

Key Points:

  • All submissions are screened for plagiarism using standard plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate).
  • Textual similarity exceeding 10–15% (excluding references, common phrases, and method descriptions) may lead to rejection or a request for revision.
  • Manuscripts found to contain copied, paraphrased, or duplicated content without appropriate citation will be immediately rejected.
  • In serious cases of academic misconduct, the journal reserves the right to retract the published article and notify the author's institution.

Acceptable Use:

  • Authors may include properly quoted material with full attribution.
  • Reuse of one’s own previously published content (self-plagiarism) must be minimal and clearly disclosed.

IJPPP is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensures that all published work is ethically sound, properly cited, and free from any form of plagiarism.
